Congratulations to Tayla Davis, a junior at THS, on bringing home a silver medal from the THSWPA State Powerlifting Meet this week! She competed in the 3A Divison 2 meet, and placed 2nd in the state for the 198 lb. weight class.
The Lady Tigers sent five powerlifters to the state meet. Lizzy Anderson (242 lb. class) and Violet Eason (165 lb. class) each finished 6th in their class, Yarahi Yanez (148 lb. class) finished 10th in her class, and Wren Goode (114 lb. class) finished 11th in her class.
