Congratulations to the THS Ag students who traveled to College Station to compete in the TAMU Applied Agricultural Engineering Invitational. There were 25 teams present and the contest was broken into 3 heats. These THS students won their heat, beating the second-place team by 215 points, and scored higher than any other team from the other heats.
In total, there were 86 students at the contest. THS students placed as follows:
Wade Gardner (Sr) 1st in heat, 1st overall
Tucker Bozard (Jr) 2nd in heat, 4th overall
Dylan Hays (Sr) 5th in heat, 7th overall
Caden Vestal (Fr) 12th in heat, 30th overall (this was his first contest!)
They are continuing to work hard as they prepare to compete at the area contest on Feb 28th for a shot at advancing to the state contest.
