All eight members of the THS Girls' Powerlifting Team qualified for the Regional meet this year!
Payton Wells placed 1st in her weight class, won the award for Best Deadlift on the light platform, set a regional deadlift record, and has qualified for the State contest.
Jaycee Eastman placed 1st in her class and has qualified for the State contest.
Tara Wells placed 3rd in her class and has qualified for the State contest.
Other Regional Results for Troup were Sarah Neel placing 3rd in her class, Violet Eason placing 5th in her class, Yarahi Yanez placing 6th in her class, and Reagan Shofner placing 8th in her class.
The Girls' State Powerlifting meet will be held on March 17 in Corpus Christi.
